Riverside Park overlooking the James River off of Rivermont Avenue boasts 47 acres of hills and walking trails with basketball and tennis courts, a play area and, of course, a locomotive!
Riverside Park is the halfway mark, and the turning point in the Virginia Ten Miler annual footrace. The paved trail that encircles the park is has a short, but steep and challenging hill which makes it a perfect training course for runners and walkers alike.
